TEMPE, AZ (BRAIN)—Titus Cycles has launched a free Garmin GPS promotion for its retailers centered around the cutting edge, 305 GPS enabled cycle-computer.
The promotion which kicked off on May 4 and will run though the end of June is intended to drive new high-end sales to its retailers during the peak selling season. The Garmin 305 represents a $350 added value that customers receive with the purchase of a new Titus bicyle.
The Garmin Edge 305 is a sophisticated cycle-computer with a host of features, including; GPS enabled navigation, GPS enabled speed and distance measurement, eliminating the need for magnets and calibration, heartrate monitor, optional speed/cadence sensor for pedal cadence measurement and a Barometric altimeter. The Edge 305 also interfaces with MotionBased and Garmin Training Center for mapping, navigation and training logs.
“We realized that it’s a challenging selling environment right now, and we want to do everything we can to support our dealers by driving business through their door,” said Titus chief executive officer Pat Hus. “The enthusiast customers that are looking at buying a Titus are a perfect match for the Garmin GPS system."
The free Garmin will be available with the purchase of a complete 2009 Titus FTM, X, El Guapo, Fireline, and Racer X 29er and may not be combined with any other promotion.
