NEWBURY PARK, CA (BRAIN)—Giant Bicycle has promoted Gregg Frederick to the position of director of sales and business development.
Frederick has been with Giant for 15 years, most recently in the position of national sales manager. In his new role, he will reinforce Giant’s commitment to its retail partners by overseeing several key areas.
Giant General Manager Elysa Walk said, “Gregg will be responsible for outside sales, and our customer services—including inside sales, customer service, and quality assurance departments. He will also lead sales operations, overseeing programs, forecasting and other sales business.
“Gregg has shown tremendous leadership development, and he’s intently focused on developing our retail network through the Giant Retail Partner program," she added.
The promotion takes effect immediately, with Frederick and his family relocating from their home in Florida to Giant’s headquarters in Newbury Park, California, within the next year.
“I’m excited to take the responsibility of leading Giant’s sales and customer service to unprecedented heights,” Frederick said. “We have a tremendous asset in our people and I look forward to using a disciplined approach to measuring, managing and improving the performance of our customers and employees.
