NORTHVALE, NJ (BRAIN)—Jamis Bicycles has added two new sales representatives to support continued expansion in northern California.

Steve Heaton, a former Specialized representative with nearly 20 years of experience in the bike industry, will cover San Francisco’s South Bay and East Bay as well as the Central Valley.

Peter Mollison, who previously handled international and northern California dealer sales along with race event management for Wilderness Trail Bikes, will focus on San Francisco as well as regions north and east to Lake Tahoe.

“We are very excited to welcome Steve and Peter to the Jamis team,” said Carine Joannou, chief executive officer and president of Jamis Bicycles. “With their talents and experience, we will be able to reach more dealers in northern California than ever before.”

“Steve and I are looking forward to representing Jamis at the Downieville Classic and other major cycling events in northern California,” Mollison said. “Jamis will also be supporting an exciting line-up of events in other parts of the state throughout the year, including the Silicon Valley Olympic Distance and Mountain Bike Sprint Triathlons in San Jose, the CCCX racing series, and the 24 Hours of Adrenalin mountain bike races.”

“We’ll also be working closely with our dealers to keep them up to date about the features and advantages of the Jamis line, including the high quality steel road bikes and mountain bikes that aren’t available through other major brands,” Heaton said. “We will be concentrating on dealer demos throughout the spring and summer.”
