PORTLAND, OR (BRAIN)—Custom and team apparel from Castelli is now available from Castelli USA, which entered into an agreement with its Italian partner, to market and manufacture team gear in the U.S. The new business venture is named Servizio Corse.
“Servizio Corse will import fabrics and chamois’ directly from Italy produced locally in Portland, Oregon. Teams and clubs now will be able to enjoy Castelli quality and performance clothing, even our Rosso Corsa products, proven in the professional peloton by the Saunier Duval Pro Team,” said Greg Cowan, Castelli USA's president.
Drawing on Castelli’s legacy of creating the highest quality apparel, all Servizio Corse shorts and bibshort will use Castelli’s AC or KISS pads. Servizio Corse also will offer first-rate apparel and team kit graphic design services.
The quality of Servizio Corse custom and team gear will equal that of Castelli in-line production, with no cutting corners for custom apparel. Sizes are available from XS to 3XL and orders will require a minimum purchase. Honors for the first-ever Servizio Corse team kit goes to PrestoVelo-bicycleattorney.com cycling team, based in Portland.
Castelli USA is the sole provider of custom Castelli apparel in the United States. Previously, custom Castelli apparel was available through Squadra U.S.
