Move over Cannondale and Trek, President Bush could be riding a new brand in the next Tour de Crawford. Seems Dubya picked up a shiny new Cult Black Gold XTR carbon hardtail mountain bike while visiting Slovenia earlier this week.
Slovenia Prime Minister Janez Jansa presented his American counterpart with the Slovenia-made gift, which is outfitted with components from Shimano, Ritchey, Easton and Marzocchi and weighs in at around 22 pounds.
According to a press release issued by Cult, President Bush should like the top performance competition bike because it was built to go fast.
Trek has bestowed at least two Fuel mountain bikes on Bush during his presidency and Cannondale kicked down a Rush to the man-in-charge in 2006.
