Trek Employees Coping with Recent Flooding

Published June 11, 2008

WATERLOO, WI (BRAIN)—The Midwest has been getting hammered with recent flooding and many Trek employees are still on flood watch.

“Roads are closed and local services are running on overtime,” said Mark Joslyn, director of human resources for Trek. “We have reports from our employees of flooded basements and wind damage, and many people must take different routes to and from work. No Trek employees have been evacuated from their homes at this point. Many have volunteered their time to fill sandbags.”

According to Joslyn, Trek’s headquarters, manufacturing, assembly and distribution haven’t been affected by the flooding.
