Canari Cyclewear Adds Ten New Reps

Published April 6, 2008

VISTA, CA (BRAIN)—Bicycle clothing designer and manufacturer Canari Cyclewear has bolstered its U.S. sales team by adding 10 new reps in the first quarter of 2008.

Last year proved to be a record setter with 30 percent growth in custom sales, and nearly as much in inline sales. Canari is anticipating continued growth due to major improvements in their product line and dealer support.

The new sales teams and their members consist of:

- O'Brien & Associates, made up of Kelly O'Brien and Tim Ausdenmoore, will canvas Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky, backed up by inside sales help from Wendy
O'Brien.

- JL Marketing, consisting of president James Lebelle and associates Erica Botelho and John Asselin, will cover all six New England states.

- Lance Landin and Hardwick Gregg will provide sales coverage in the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi.

- Robert Marhefke picks up the slack in the Minnesota and Wisconsin markets, while David Tevebaugh, a newcomer to the bicycle industry, will service Missouri and Kansas.

"We've started with a great core of individuals, and with the addition of this new crew to our sales team, we're on our way to set IBD sales on fire," said Erik DeKold, Canari's sales manager. "After we fill a couple more small holes in the Colorado and Illinois markets we'll have the country completely canvased and then it will be time to set our sights on Canada, so any Canadian reps or distributors feel free to contact us."
