KORBACH, Germany (BRAIN)—Continental Tires AG has appointed Brett Hahn to its newly-created position of North American brand manager for its Bicycle Tire Business Unit.
“We have been working with Brett since 1999, and his understanding and contributions to the brand and market position of Continental in the North American market have been highly valued,” said Juergen Marth, Continental’s director of the two wheel tires. “We look forward to working with him to further develop Continental’s position in North America.”
Hahn was formerly general manager of Yeti Cycles, and national sales manager for Continental’s U.S. distributor, Highway Two. He has been extensively involved in sales, marketing and product development roles of the industry for nearly 20 years.
Hahn will now focus on marketing management, press relations, event support, product development and OEM sales support directly with the marketing and product teams of Continental.
“I like the single branded strategy, it really allows me to focus my efforts. And while I like sales, I look forward to getting back to the product and marketing side of Continental. Plus it’s going to be easier to clock my riding as product development now,” Hahn said.
Communications for Continental brand-related matters should be addressed to Brett Hahn via e-mail at bhahn@highwaytwo.com or by phone at (970) 259-9162.
