SANTA ANA, CA (BRAIN)—The NBDA has announced the 25 winners of the 2008 NBDA National Bike Summit Scholarship Program.
Each winner will receive up to $1,000 to attend the event in Washington, D.C March 4-6. "We did this to support industry efforts for future federal funding of bicycling projects in America by making it affordable for first-time NBDA member dealers to participate," said Jerry Hiniker, board secretary and chair of NBDA's Governmental Affairs Committee from Grand Marais, MN.
NBDA member dealers from 20 different states have been selected to receive scholarships. The NBDA congratulates each of the winners and encourages all U.S. specialty bicycle retailers to attend the event.
