VALENCIA, CA (BRAIN)—H3 Publications (Road and Decline magazine), Bicycle Retailer and the City of Santa Clarita will be hosting an After the Event Party for the public, bicycle dealers, bike industry members and V.I.P. at the Valencia Westfield Mall on Saturday, Feb. 23.
The AMGEN Tour of California finishes Stage 6 at 4 p.m.; party starts immediately afterwards. Located at 24201 West Valencia Blvd., Valencia Ca 91355.
This is the 6th Stage of the AMGEN Tour of California, before the final stage, and the finish is only a block away from the Street Party. Again, this year, H3 will have an expo area at the mall. This year it will be open to the public that attends the finish area or the mall. The city estimates 15,000 to 20,000 people will attend throughout the day.
Bring your road and/or mountain bikes, as there will be a ride before the Tour gets to town. Some companies will have demo bikes and others will be selling goods. All companies participating in the expo must be at the mall from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Monies from the expo go to the city for the party, which includes many surprises such as live music.
This year's raffle proceeds will go to the Michael Hoefflin Foundation www.mhf.org and Breakaway from Cancer www.breakawayfromcancer.com. Again, H3 asks for your help in getting signed memorabilia such as jerseys, helmets, shoes and more from road and mountain bike celebrities.
