Sean Leslie Leaves Base Camp

Published October 18, 2007

SEATTLE, WA (BRAIN)—Sean Leslie left his marketing duties at Base Camp Communications for the great Northwest.

Leslie has already landed on his feet. Leslie got a coveted role as account manager for action sports and outdoor lifestyle PR firm Hayter Communications.

In his new position, Leslie will drive media relations efforts for Ride, K2 Snowboards and the K2 Winter Outdoor division (Karhu, Atlas and Madshus), as well as assist with assignments for Helly Hansen, POW Gloves and project clients.

Leslie arrived in Seattle after a two-plus year stint with Base Camp Communications in Jackson, WY, where he managed media relations for a variety of A-list outdoor and cycling accounts.

Prior to his time in Jackson, he interned with National Geographic Adventure magazine in New York, cut his journalistic teeth as a correspondent at the Gloucester Daily Times, graduated as an honor student from the National Outdoor Leadership School and traveled extensively in Australia and New Zealand.

Leslie was birthed in England, raised in New Jersey and schooled at the University of New Hampshire, where he graduated Cum Laude in 2003.

He's an avid snowboarder, hiker and mountain biker, and a crafty yarn-spinner and pitchman. In line with his passion for the outdoors, Leslie is also a concerned environmentalist. As such, he is enrolled in the Bainbridge Graduate Institute's MBA in Sustainable Business program, in which he will commence coursework after hours next year.

Leslie can be reached via phone at the office, (206) 633-7990, or through e-mail at sean@hayterpr.com. For more information on Hayter Communications’ clients and services, visit www.hayterpr.com.
