WTB Has New European Headquarters

Published October 16, 2007

MILL VALLEY, CA (BRAIN)—WTB just announced the opening of its European headquarters in Pilsen, Czech Republic.

Katerina Rejchrtova has been appointed president of WTB Europe, a separate sister WTB company. Rejchrtova joins WTB with over a decade of bicycle industry experience, including a high-profile management role at the European tire company Rubena.

This pivotal business step comes at the tail end of WTB’s 25th anniversary, a year that brought 20 strong new components to the market as well as healthy sales. The European office will serve the ever-growing European market, including customer service and warehousing.

“The new headquarters will greatly decrease shipping times throughout Europe,” said Patrick Seidler, president of WTB. “Warranty and customer service issues will be greatly improved as well.”

The new office will offer European-built rims and wheelsets for OEM and aftermarket usage. The product line will be nearly identical to the popular U.S. line, with slight refinements tailored to the European market. Best of all, WTB Europe will have the ability to ship to any of the European Union’s 27 countries within 72 hours.

WTB’s rich company history and commitment to producing affordable, high quality components has made the brand quite popular worldwide, especially in Europe.

“WTB was one of pioneering companies in mountain biking,” stated Rejchrtova. “We want to keep the WTB spirit and add the European way of business management.”
