Truvativ Founder Launching New Venture

Published October 16, 2007

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (BRAIN)—Micki Kozuschek who sold Truvativ to SRAM in 2004, started a new bike accessories company called Lezyne, which rhymes with design.

“The company focuses around the theme of organize yourself. Our hydration and saddle packs have dedicated spots for your pump, tire irons, mini-tool, inner-tubes, anything you have with you out on a ride has a place,” Kozuschek said. And the accessories to fill those pouches are all Lezyne products as well, from innovative mini-tools to machined aluminum mini-pumps.

The founding three partners of Lezyne are Kozuschek, Dillon Clapp, the former Truvativ marketing chief and Lenny Wang, Truvativ’s former lead research and development engineer.

Lezyne plans to ship product to dealers by November and will have booths at Eurobike and Interbike. Its Web site, www.lezyne.com, goes live on August 18 with a full run down of all the new product. —Matt Wiebe
