New Look, Features On Giant Women's Site

Published October 16, 2007

NEWBURY PARK, CA (BRAIN)–Giantforwomen.com, the official Web site of the Giant for Women program, has a brand new look with some exciting new features.

Just added to the site is a bulletin board where members can share information on anything from the perfect saddle, to finishing a first century, to nutrition tips—everything dealing with a member’s cycling life, goals, obstacles and more.

Also new to the Web site is a photo gallery, where members can post pictures of themselves, friends and family as they discover the bliss of a bike ride.

The special Web address just celebrated its first birthday by giving away a Giant Rainier W mountain bike to a lucky member. And the Ride Finder, another feature recently added, has proven to be very popular. Members of the Giant for Women Ride Society can go online to learn about favorite bike rides discovered by other members across the country and around the world. Members can also post choice routes or use the tool to develop local cycling groups.

“We think our members will find the new look and features of Giantforwomen.com exciting and informative,” said Tiffany Brown, Giant for Women manager. “The site is about connecting women of all riding abilities, regardless of what kind of bike they ride.”

“It costs nothing to join,” Brown said. “All that’s necessary is just signing up at www.GiantforWomen.com. It’s a great way to start meeting other women who all share the joy of two wheels.”
