DENVER, CO (BRAIN)—More than 2,000 exhibitors and retailers will walk through the doors of Denver's downtown convention center as the three-day Health & Fitness Business Expo gets underway.
Some of the key brands among the 150 companies exhibiting include Diamondback, LeMond, Saris, Lamar Health Fitness and Sports and Polar. The show kicks off with a keynote address by Paul Zane Pilzer, whose latest book, "The New Wellness Revolution," tackles the subject of the health and
fitness market.
Lance Camiscasca, the show's director, said Pilzer's speech will help retailers better focus on wellness issues and the role specialty retailers can play in offering solutions to people who want to get fit and stay fit. Camiscasca is also Interbike's show director.
"The health and fitness industry, as well as the bicycle industry, are vital at this critical moment in our nation's history," said Robert Roman, a senior account executive at Health and Fitness and Interbike. "Our growing health and obesity problems continue to demand headlines and increasing
national attention."
