(BRAIN) — Mondraker says its new gravel e-bike — the Dusty — is designed to go beyond the mountains, built around a carbon frame and fork, and a motor that can be modified from Class 1 to Class 3 in the U.S. by upgrading the software.
The Class 3 upgrade can be done only through a Mondraker dealer and is subject to state-specific legislation.
The frame and fork is constructed with Mondraker's Stealth Air Carbon, comes spec'd with 700x50c tires, and features the latest TQ HRP60 motor. Featuring 60 Nm of torque and 350 watts of peak power, the motor can have 200% pedal assistance, according to Mondraker.
The Dusty is paired with a 580Wh battery (or 360Wh on selected models) and is compatible with a 160Wh range extender. The Dusty has three assistance modes and can be customized through the TQ E-Bike app.
