(BRAIN) — POC's Cytal Lite helmet is designed for riders who want a lightweight option to manage heat with enhanced ventilation.
Based on the Cytal model, which POC says is the market's safest road helmet, the Cytal Lite weighs less than 200 grams in the medium size and meets the EN 1078 safety standard.
It features a low-density EPS liner that optimizes weight and crash protection, and has an outer in-mold PC shell.
The helmet's front padding is vertically oriented to allow for more air flow across the forehead. Two integrated wings help airflow through and around the helmet to improve ventilation.
The Cytal Lite also features an adjustable fit system and retails for $400.
