MADISON, Wis. (BRAIN) — Planet Bike has expanded its eco-friendly products to include recycled polycarbonate full bike fenders for commuters, replacing its full-wrap fender offerings.
New sizes have been added to accommodate more tire sizes. The Full Circle Fenders feature a TUV-certified recycled polycarbonate blade, manufactured from recycled water bottles. Sizes are 700c x 45mm with a maximum tire size of 700c x 35mm, and 26-inch x 60mm with a maximum tire size of 26x1.6. MSRP for each is $54.99.
The ReCycle Fenders also feature a TUV-certified recycled polycarbonate blade, however, these feature a 40mm mud flap. The 700c fender also is 45mm and has the same maximum tire size capability as the Full Circle. The ReCycle 26-inch fender has a maximum tire size of 1.9 inches. MSRP for each is $64.99.
The Cascadia Recycled Fenders are made with 36% CRS-certified recycled polycarbonate blades with 100mm mud flaps. They are offered in sizes 27.5x60mm for a maximum tire size of 27.5x1.9, and 700c x 55mm with a maximum tire size of 700c x 45mm. MSRP for each is $84.99.
