(BRAIN) — Batch Bicycles' new 20-inch mountain bike for kids features age-specific geometry, wide-range gearing, and mechanical disc brakes.
Built from 6061 hydroformed alloy, the frame is spec'd with a Microshift Acolyte 8-speed drivetrain and clutch-equipped rear derailleur. The 20-inch wheels have 2.6-inch all-condition tires. The disc brake system has 160mm rotors.
Along with MTB-styled handlebars, ergonomic Kraton grips and a Batch-branded saddle complete the cockpit.
The mountain bike is designed for kids 6 and older. It comes in holographic silver or chameleon and retails for $520.
