OFFENBACH, Germany (BRAIN) — CargoMate, a front rack with a quick, tool-free mount system, will launch at next month's Eurobike show in Frankfurt and has been nominated for a Eurobike Award.
The rack from the accessory brand Flectr is said to install in 30 seconds with two adjustment straps and is said to fit almost any bike or handlebar type. The design keeps the load close to the handlebar to minimize "load swing." The rack's stainless steel frame comes with a shiny silver or semi-matte black finish, and other options include six cover colors and nine bungee-cord colors.

The rack's total weight is 670 grams (1.47 pounds) and recommended maximum load is 5 kg (11 pounds). It is manufactured in Europe and will retail for 99 euros. The company is continuing to run a crowd-funding campaign that offers the product for 69 euros with a pre-production order.
