MADISON, Wis. (BRAIN) — Planet Bike released a new bar tape and twist-shift mountain bike grips.
The Gravel Cross 3.5 Handlebar Tape is designed to provide extra cushioning, according to Planet Bike, and its cross-hatch pattern provides tack grip in all conditions. The 3.5mm thick tape has a rubber outer coating and a 3M-backed adhesive.
It comes in a variety of colors and retails for $39.99.
The Shifty Grip Mid-Mount locking grips are for Gripshift systems and other twist-shift applications. It has a standard 128mm opened-end left grip and a 93.5mm right grip. The Shifty Grip Duo Mid-Mounts are designed for bikes with double-twist shifters, measuring 93.5mm.
According to Planet Bike, the grips have a broad ergonomic palm platform for support with the underside featuring a micro-texture. MSRP for the Mid Mount is $24.99 and $19.99 for the Duo Mid Mount.
