(BRAIN) — Magura's Gustav Pro hydraulic brake system is designed for e-MTB and gravity applications, manufactured specifically for heavier bikes.
The Gustav Pro works with 2.5mm thick rotors and has 40% more pad volume, Magura said, lengthening time between service intervals. Because of their mass, Magura says, the rotors and pads heat less. The master cylinder's pistons have been enlarged to 12mm and 19mm in the caliper.
Magura integrated its Easy Link technoloy for the time into the master cylinder so that the hose can be disconnected and connected without special tools.
The system is compatible with the Bosch eBike ABS, and will be available on complete bikes and aftermarket sales in the fourth quarter of this year.
