Praxis launches new carbon road crank named for Bonny Doon Road climb

MONTEREY, Calif. (BRAIN) — Praxis launched a variety of new products at the Sea Otter Classic, including a new carbon road crank called The Doon, named for a famous climb in the Santa Cruz, California-area. 

The Doon is made with Praxis’ CRAFT Carbon with an aluminum M30- spindle. 

The armset weighs 342 grams in 172.5 mm length. It is being sold as a double crankset or an armset, which is compatible with three-bolt direct-mount single chainrings. It’s also compatible with SRM or Power2Max 3-bolt power meters. 

The arms retail for $315. Double-chainring setups with arms retail for $450.  Available in four chainring combinations: 48/32, 50/34, 52/36, or 53/39. Arms are available in 165, 170, 172.5 and 175 mm lengths.
