The other new launch is the $7.73 MSRP 1971 Clamp Adapter for D-Shaped Seat Posts. The adapter installs onto the clamps found on most Park Tool repair stands to hold D-shaped seatposts more securely by converting one jaw profile to a flat surface. The 1971 fits over a clamp's existing jaw covers and is easy to remove and install by hand.
