BENTONVILLE, Ark. (BRAIN) — Vittoria has unveiled a new version of its Barzo and Mezcal cross-country tires featuring the UCI logo and a UCI rainbow swoosh on the tire sidewalls. The company also is releasing special edition CORSA Pro road tires with gold sidewalls to celebrate that model's success at races in 2023.
Mountain bike
Vittoria has been a partner of the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships and UCI Mountain Bike World Cup during the last three years.
These two models have been used to win many national and European titles. Notable victories include Jordan Sarrou’s 2020 UCI World Championship win for cross-country Olympic (XCO) on Barzo, Pauline Ferrand-Prévot’s UCI World Championship triumphs for XCO in 2015 on Barzo and 2022 on Mezcal, and Henrique Avancini’s 2023 UCI World title for cross-country marathon (XCM) on Mezcal.
The UCI-licensed tires retain the same tread designs of the Barzo & Mezcal high-end versions. They feature a Nylon 60 TPI casing, folding tubeless-ready bead, and an all-conditions rubber compound.
Road bike
Vittoria claims its Corsa Pro tire model was the "winningest tire of 2023." The tire ws used to win Milano-Sanremo, Paris-Roubaix, Giro d’Italia, Tour de France, La Vuelta, and the UCI Road World Championships. To commemorate the sucess, Vittoria introduced the limited-edition Corsa PRO Gold adorned with golden sidewalls. Only 2,023 packs will be available worldwide, each containing two Corsa PRO Gold tires.
Corsa PRO Gold Limited Edition is available in size 700x28c (28-622) tubeless-ready version only (hookless compatible and inner-tube compatible), retailing for $299.
