GOLDEN, Colo. (BRAIN) — Feedback Sports has updated its Velo Hinge pivoting bike storage hook, making it compatible with bigger and wider rims and tires and adding grip tape to the tire-contact plate for stability.
The Velo Hinge 2.0's longer, angled wheel hook accommodates deep-profile road wheels and wide mountain bike rims/tires from 700C x 23mm to 29 x 3.0-inch. A stiffer, weld-reinforced full-length hinge is said to offer flex-free bike mounting and pivoting action.
Its capacity is 50 pounds (22.7kg) when properly stud-mounted. The patented hinge design allows bikes to pivot left or right and the hook folds away when not in use. A larger rear wheel bumper stabilizes bikes to prevent them swaying or slipping on walls.
For sustainability, the product features easy-to-recycle steel construction and a recyclable paperboard header card. MSRP is $40. It's available now in the U.S. and mid-December globally.
