SAN DIEGO, Calif. (BRAIN) —5DEV is releasing new titanium chainrings for 3-bolt direct-mount mountain bike cranks.
The CNC-machined chainrings are available in 30-tooth and 32-tooth options with a 3mm offset. They come in raw, bronze, purple or teal anodized finishes. The company says the rings last at least three times as long as aluminum chainrings.
MSRP is $199 and the rings are available now at 5DEV.com.
5DEV is a division of 5thAxis, a precision Workholding, CNC machining, and Engineering firm. 5DEV said the chainrings are made on the same machines that produce medical implants, and components for NASA and SpaceX.
