IZIP Bikes celebrates 15 years with three new traditional models

KENT, Wash. (BRAIN) — IZIP Bikes celebrates its 15th year by expanding its product line with the addition of three traditional pedal bikes: the Alki 1 and 2 and Zest.

Named after a local beach in the Seattle area, the Alki 1 ($660) features an upright riding position, 700x42c wheels for enhanced city riding and commuting. With step-over and step-thru options, the Alki 1 has a rack- and fender-ready aluminum frame and fork. It also comes with Shimano EZ Fire Plus seven-speed trigger shifters and 21 gears.

The Alki 2 ($750) also puts the rider in an upright position and also has 700x42c wheels. The aluminum frame is rack- and fender-ready. The Alki 2 features Shimano EZ Fire Plus eight-speed trigger shifters and 24 gears and also comes in a step-thru option.

The Zest ($765) offers the traditional look of a double-diamond frame, but is offered in step-over and step-thru versions. It features 27.5x1.95 tires that enhance roll-over ability.
