SAN VENDEMIANO, Italy (BRAIN) — Elastic Interface, best known for its cycling pads used by many apparel manufacturers, is working with Giro on its new Supernatural Gloves, which feature the EIT Palm Technology.
The palm technology is a seamless, three-dimensional, elastic design that was co-developed specifically for Giro's gloves. Elastic Interface has supplied shorts pads to Giro for many years.
The company said it developed the EIT Palm Technology with support from the University of Padua Department of Biomedical Sciences. It said the "chamois for your hand" adapts perfectly to the shape of the hand, improves blood flow, and dramatically reduces soreness in the ulnar nerve.
Giro is the first U.S. brand to feature the EIT Palm with its Supernatural Gloves, which are available in Giro's 2021 Spring/Summer collection.
