Spinergy lowers prices on carbon and alloy wheels

Published January 22, 2020

CARLSBAD, Calif. (BRAIN) — Spinergy says increased efficiency at its factory is allowing it lower prices on its bicycle wheels.

"Spinergy products have always been manufactured here in North America and in the last few years, accelerating demand prompted the company to invest heavily in technology, equipment and resources to refine their production facility and increase capacity. This efficiency in manufacturing, has allowed Spinergy to introduce some exciting new pricing across the board," the company said.

As of Jan. 21, Spinergy's carbon road and gravel wheelsets will have retail prices in North America starting at $999 per pair. Alloy road, gravel, and mountain bike wheelsets will have North American retail prices starting at $549 per pair.

Customers outside of North America should contact their local distributor for pricing.

The wheels feature patented PBO fiber spokes, which the company says are three times the strength of steel at half the weight, and CNC-machined hubs using Enduro sealed cartridge bearings and Hadley Racing freehub bodies.
