Paul offers its Dropper Trigger in 31.8mm size for road bikes

Published November 18, 2019

CHICO, Calif. (BRAIN) — Paul Component Engineering is now offering its Dropper Trigger lever in a 31.8mm clamp size, joining the company's 22.8 size that's been available for over a year. The new size is intended to be used on road handlebars, mounted next to the stem.

For this model we used a radiused actuator design to allow the cable housing to exit the perch at a 90-degree angle to the bars for the most friendly and compatible cable routing possible," the company said. "We used the same double-stacked sealed cartridge-bearings design of our 22.2 lever, so there is ZERO play or slop, extremely smooth lever feel, and maximum durability and serviceability of the pivot."

The lever has a hinged clamp so it can be installed without removing handlebar tape or brake lever. A small cable barrel adjuster allows adjustments on the fly.

Available anodized or polished.
