MARINA, Calif. (BRAIN) — Light & Motion has announced a new addition to its Vya Series, the Vya Switch Taillight. In a departure from the current Vya line with Autosense control, the Vya Switch includes a rider controlled switch. It has three user-selected modes:
- High SafePulse — 100 lumens for a run time of six hours.
- Low SafePulse — 50 lumens for a run time of 12 hours.
- Steady — 25 lumens for a run time of four hours.
"This light is culmination of feedback from retailers, riders and control freaks. Steady mode was an ask of night riding groups, riding in pace lines or pelotons that don't want to stare at pulsing lights." said Daniel Emerson, Light & Motion CEO. "Trail riders wanted a tail light to help them safely access their trail rides with the option to turn off once they hit the dirt."
Vya Switch incorporates the feature of the other Vya products: USB blade charging; quarter-turn installation and removal. Like all Vya products, the Vya Switch is manufactured in Light & Motion's U.S. facility in Marina, California. MSRP is $39.99.
