LEAMINGTON SPA, United Kingdom (BRAIN) — Hiplok SPIN, a keyless wearable bike lock, is now available to U.S. retailers.
Born out of the success of the brand's original earable chain locks, the SPIN is the first Hiplok chain to come with an integrated resettable combination lock, requiring no keys. The SPIN sits as Hiplok's entry level wearable chain lock and features the brand's patented
wearable fastening that adjusts to fit the waist without being locked to the body. This means that it fits the individual rider and can easily be removed.
It has a 6mm hardened steel chain at its core, and weighs less the 800 grams. Hiplok's co-founder, Ben Smith, said, "Easy to carry, no keys required and a hardwearing steel chain at its core, SPIN is the perfect solution for the everyday rider looking for a secure, practical bike lock at a great price."
The Hiplok SPIN retails for $50 and is available in either black or hi-neon. Hiplok locks are distributed in the U.S. by Hoss Active Sports Group, LLC (hasgllc.com) and by Quality Bicycle Products (qbp.com); and in Canada by Live to Play Sports (livetoplaysports.com).
