PORTLAND, Ore. (BRAIN) — Showers Pass launched its first water-resistant short at the Sea Otter Classic. The DWR Cross Country Short is the latest addition to their popular mountain biking short line, and the first to be built with a DWR (durable water repellent) coated fabric.
An adjustable waistband and silicone grip strip allow the waist to stay in place on aggressive rides. The shorts feature a durable, brushed fabric on the rear; and a lighter, airier fabric on the front, adjustable waist tabs and 4-way stretch construction.
"Our new DWR Cross Country Short offers a solution to wet spring riding conditions, when comfort and staying dry in the saddle is paramount for enjoying the longer days on the bike. Our customers have been asking for a short that offered protection from the elements, and we are happy to have developed a comfortable and stylish solution for those braving the toughest conditions," said Jeremy Rider, the PR director of Showers Pass. "The DWR Cross Country Short not only gives mountain bikers a solution for staying dry in wet weather, but also provides a versatile short for other outdoor activities on wet spring days."
MSRP is $95. The shorts are available in Men's sizes; 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40. More information: showerspass.com.
