NEVERS, France (BRAIN) — A year after launching its first enduro pedal, the Speciale 12, Time is now offering a more compact and affordable version called the Speciale 8.
The Speciale 8 is made with an aluminum body that is slightly more compact than the Speciale 12, with a micrometric tension system and two adjustable pins to optimize grip. It uses Time's ATAC engagement and closure system that the company said allows easy entry and exit in all conditions.
The Speciale 8 is fully assembled at Time's factory in Never, France.
The pedals weigh 196 grams per pedal, have hollow steel axles and steel bearings. The cleats allow either 13 or 17 degrees of float. Retail price: $125
