Katerina Rejchrtova Leaving WTB Europe

Published February 25, 2011

PILSEN, Czech Republic (BRAIN)—Former WTB Europe president Katerina Rejchrtova confirmed on Friday that she is in the process of leaving the company.

Patrick Seidler, an owner of both WTB USA and WTB Europe, said Rejchrtova was removed from her position as president last October and given the title of administrative transition specialist. Seidler said she is no longer affiliated with WTB as of Jan. 31, however Rejchrtova said in an interview last week that she is formally still employed and is currently in the process of negotiating the terms of her separation or potential further cooperation with WTB.

She declined to provide further details as to not affect any legal action that may come from the matter.

WTB has promoted Peter Ladman to legal executive and Lorenzo Parini to sales director to run WTB Europe’s new office in Pilzen, Czech Republic, Seidler said. The office opened on Feb. 1.

Seidler also said that WTB USA team manager Mark Weir and OEM sales manager Jason Moeschler continue to be employed by the company. Both ride for Team WTB, which recently changed frame sponsors from Santa Cruz to Cannondale, Seidler said.

Rejchrtova joined WTB in October 2007 to spearhead its business in Europe after spending a decade working at other industry tire companies. She may be just as well known, however, for her volunteer work organizing Taichung Bike Week, an annual OEM spec event held in Taiwan.
