SAN MATEO, Calif. (BRAIN) — The Nasdaq Stock Market notified GoPro that it has complied with minimum price requirements to remain listed.
In July, Nasdaq told GoPro for the second time since April that its Class A common stock fell below the minimum bid price of $1 for 30 consecutive days, a violation of listing rules. At the time, the action camera brand was exploring selling or merging. Earlier this month, GoPro and privately held optical-photonics company Starman Optical Inc. announced a merger with GoPro's approximate $92 million debt being repaid by year's end at closing. GoPro said it will remain a publicly listed company.
Since, GoPro's stock price has maintained a closing bid price above $1 per share for at least 10 consecutive business days, meeting Nasdaq's requirements for regaining compliance.
GoPro's closing price Thursday was $1.34 and opened Friday morning at $1.33.
