ASHEVILLE, N.C. (BRAIN) — After developing its universal shipping bike box in collaboration with Scott Sports, Kitzuma Cycling Logistics is making it available to the industry.
The box will fit any size or model bike, including an e-bike, and doesn't require any special packing materials, according to Kitzuma. It's 62 inches long, 15 inches wide, and 33 inches tall. Double-corrugated, the box ships with a 62x33-inch frame divider, and stays under the maximum size allowed by major ground carriers.
Orders start with a four-pack at about $42 per box. Brands and retailers can order in bulk, with custom printing available. The box ships through Kitzuma's portal with no oversize surcharges and less assembly for the end-user, according to Kitzuma. Brands and retailers also can order in volume with their own printing and logos.
