BMX Hall of Famer Harry Leary dies at 65

(BRAIN) — Former top BMX racer Harry Leary died Sept. 7 of heat exhaustion in the Arizona desert, according to a USA BMX Instagram post. He was 65.

Leary was a member of the BMX Hall of Fame and raced on the Diamondback and JMC teams, among others. According to USA BMX, he worked for Western States Imports (the former owner of Diamondback), Balance, Marzocchi, and his own brand, Dirtwerx.

He leaves his mother, Beverly Blodgett, his sisters Linda Taylor and Cammie Laster; and his daughter, Breyana. According to USA BMX, no public service is planned.
