EL PASO, Texas (BRAIN) — Osprey and Hydro Flask parent company Helen of Troy fourth-quarter net sales increased 1% year-over-year, while 2024 net sales declined 3.3%.
Net sales in the Home & Outdoor segment, which contains Osprey and Hydro Flask, grew 5.4% in the fourth quarter and 0.1% in 2024 year-over-year. Fourth-quarter net sales were $489.2 million, compared with $484.6 million at the same time last year. For the year, net sales were $2.005 billion, compared with $2.072 billion in 2023.
The Home & Outdoor segment's fourth-quarter net sales were $223.3 million compared with $211.9 million at the same time last year. For the year, Home & Outdoor net sales were $916.38 million compared with $915.69 million at the same time last year.
For the fourth quarter, net income was $42.7 million, increasing 18.1% from the $36.2 million reported at the same time last year. Earnings per share was $1.79, compared with $1.50 at the same time last year, increasing 19.3%.
For 2024, net income was $168.6 million rising 17.7% from $143.3 million in 2023. Earnings per share was $7.03, increasing 18.2% from $5.95.
