HENLEY-ON-THE-THAMES, England (BRAIN) — Endura Sales Manager Simon Richardson was killed in a bike accident here on Sunday. He was 58.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing, an Endura spokesperson told BRAIN on Tuesday. The spokesperson did not say if a vehicle was involved or provide any other details.
Richardson, who led the clothing brand's United Kingdom and international sales, is survived by wife Camilla and children Emily, Evan, and Holly. Funeral services will be announced.
Richardson was with Endura for 11 years. Before coming to Endura, he also worked for East Street Cycle as business development manager for nearly a year.
"Simon's contribution is a profoundly important part of what built Endura into what it is today," said company founders Jim McFarlane and Pamela Barclay in a joint statement.
"His commitment and contribution helped shape the business and its culture, and we would not have had the success that we have had without him. Thank you, Simon, for coming along for the ride for these last 11 years. It has been an enormous pleasure and privilege to have you as part of this eclectic family through Endura's formative years."
