VALLEJO, Calif. (BRAIN) — Former Cannondale coworkers Stephen Cuomo and Kevin Wren are getting the gang back together at Wren Sports. Cuomo is joining the company as vice president of sales.
"Steve is one of the hardest working people I've ever had the pleasure of teaming with," said Kevin Wren, the managing partner at Wren Sports, LLC. "Steve's product knowledge and understanding of the OEM and world bicycle market is exactly what we need to bring Wren Sports to the next level," added Wren.
Cuomo was director of Cannondale's product management for a decade before becoming vice president of product design and engineering for GT/Schwinn. He went on to head up OEM sales for Crankbrothers globally and for Selle Royal Group's U.S. operations.
"Kevin and I started working together when he was hired to head up the CODA project for Cannondale," said Cuomo. "We traveled throughout Asia developing the CODA product for both OEM spec on Cannondale bikes, and for aftermarket sales. I have a lot of respect for Kevin and what he's accomplished with Wren Sports in a short time. In particular, I'm impressed with Wren Sports' suspension forks, cockpits, and outstanding global customer service."
