Brand to make its US debut at CABDA West this week.

REXFORD, N.Y. (BRAIN) — Prestacycle has formed a new business entity to sell Wolfpack tires, a new Germany-based brand.

"Wolfpack NA" has exclusive operating rights for the brand in North America.

Wolfpack was founded and is owned by Wolfgang Arenz, who has been involved with tire compound development with Specialized, Continental and Schwalbe.

Wolfpack tires feature Arenz's new "ToGuard" rubber compound, which the company said provides increased grip, lower rolling resistance and improved puncture protection. The Astana Pro Team raced on Wolfpack tires for the entire 2019 pro road season.

"Wolfpack's business model focuses exclusively on bicycle retailers globally," said Prestacycle's president, David Finlayson. "Unlike all the discount brands, Wolfpack tires will not be found selling online to consumers at heavy markdowns — particularly not the problematic U.K. websites. Wolfpack will ensure shops can provide the best tires in cycling, without pricing embarrassment."

Prestacycle launched Wolfpack Tires this week at CABDA West in San Diego, in Booth 230. A spring introductory offer will be made to all bicycle shops that visit the Prestacycle booth at each of the three CABDA shows.
The Wolfpack North America website is: wolfpackNA.com. The company said products are in stock and available to distributors, dealers and consumers.
