The bridge serves as the grand finale in the annual trilogy of century cycling events in Western North Carolina. Last is often necessary for even seasoned cyclists to be ready for the challenge of a 100-mile ride whose elevation spans more than 3000 feet. Grandfather Mountain allows cyclists to take the challenge but once each year and only for the BRIDGE - DON'T MISS IT IN 2011! Must pre-register beginning Friday, July 22, 2011 at 12 noon for any non-returning riders.
