Built for builders. Ready for the trail.
Standard builds are now available for brands and builders developing 32" Trail and XC bikes.
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Industry Nine announces the Hush, a carbon Trail/XC rim engineered specifically for 32" wheels, now available to framebuilders and OEM partners bringing 32" platforms to market. The Hush gives builders a rim developed for this wheel size from the ground up, not adapted from an existing 29" or 27.5" mold, so they can spec 32" bikes with a partner already established in the category.
Hush was built without Industry Nine's Convergence technology by design, giving the R&D team room to test spoke counts and hub spacings before locking into a single configuration. After testing across the board, 24h 2:1 lacing on Boost spacing paired with Industry Nine's SOLiX hub delivered the best results for XC riding and racing: impact strength and radial compliance in line with a proven 29" wheel, with only a minor drop in lateral stiffness, while the larger diameter adds momentum, approach angle, and roll-over capability riders can feel on trail. Every Hush rim is handlaid in Kamloops, British Columbia, by WR1, Industry Nine's in-house carbon division.
