The first HORN bikes are arriving at select dealers, with MITH following in August.
For years, the question kept showing up.
Instagram DMs.
Emails from riders trying to get bikes shipped across the Atlantic.
Dealers asking when UNNO would finally become more available in North America.
Now it is happening.
UNNO is officially strengthening its presence in the US market.
But if you expect a massive rollout, hundreds of dealers or warehouses full of bikes, you’re looking at the wrong brand.
UNNO has never been built around volume. And that is not changing.
Founded in Barcelona by designer and engineer César Rojo, the brand has built its reputation on smaller production, tighter control, uncompromising engineering and bikes developed without chasing trends or mass-market expectations.
While UNNO bikes have already been available in limited numbers in the US through select partners over the years, the brand is now strengthening its commitment to North America with dedicated support on the ground.
"We probably waited longer than most brands would have,” says César. “But we never wanted to enter the US just to become another volume brand. That was never the point.”
Leading UNNO’s presence in North America will be industry veteran Cary Tatro, whose background spans decades inside the cycling world, with deep roots in mountain biking and XC racing culture. Those who know Cary also know his interests don't stop when the trail ends. A perspective that may become increasingly relevant in the future. Tatro also spent years working with Spanish brand Orbea as Country Manager and General Manager in the US market, bringing extensive experience building premium cycling brands in North America.
"The opportunity isn't to make UNNO bigger. It's to build the right team around the brand. Starting with the right partners and the right riders." — Cary Tatro
As with all UNNO markets worldwide, availability in the US will remain intentionally limited.
The first UNNO HORN bikes are now beginning to arrive at select dealers across the US. Designed by people who refuse to accept that speed uphill should come at the expense of confidence downhill, the HORN brings UNNO's gravity-first mindset to modern XC. Fast, aggressive and unapologetically different, it marks the first step in the brand's North American expansion. The MITH will follow in August, with initial deliveries arriving in very limited numbers.
That limited availability is not a launch tactic.
It is simply how UNNO operates. Not only in the US, but globally.
The bikes are developed with the same mindset César brings to engineering: purposeful design, no unnecessary complexity and no compromise on ride performance.
And riders have noticed.
From the downhill-focused attitude of the MITH to the HORN’s aggressive approach to modern XC, UNNO has become one of the most talked-about boutique brands in mountain biking, despite remaining relatively small and intentionally difficult to get.
“We want UNNO to stay special,” says César. “Not because of artificial scarcity, but because we care deeply about every product we put into the market and the people representing the brand.”
As the first bikes begin arriving in the market, UNNO continues to build a selective network of dealer partners across the US. Rather than pursuing widespread distribution, the company is focused on working with the industry's best retailers / partners who share the same passion for performance, product knowledge and delivering an exceptional rider experience.
Because entering the US market was never about becoming bigger.
It was about doing it the right way.
That means growing deliberately, supporting a carefully selected dealer network and ensuring every rider experiences UNNO the way it was intended.
