We are thrilled to share our exciting news with you! In addition to uniting our heritage brands under the name Revolution, we are also unveiling our new Rev equipment.
This rebrand brings us into a new chapter following our acquisition of BCycle from Trek in 2024.
Our new company name, Revolution, represents our unshakable commitment to, and belief in, the transformative power of bike share as a modern mobility solution. We are proud of our pioneering work as Bicycle Transit Systems and BCycle, and now as North America’s only vertically integrated docked bike share provider, we’re continuing to build the future of bike share with incredible partners from coast to coast.
For the time being, our local systems will continue to be branded BCycle, and we’ll keep our partners and riders in the know as we make the transition to Revolution.
We’re also sharing a first look at our new product line:
Meet our Electric Rev Bike, Classic Rev Bike, Charging Rev Dock and Universal Rev Dock.

The lightweight Electric Rev Bike is powered by the Bosch eBike System, while the Charging Rev Dock pairs with the Bosch eBike System for safe and efficient in-dock charging.

The Universal Rev Dock is designed for flexible station siting and installation, fitting in many different urban environments.
Together, this equipment is designed to support the evolving needs of cities, agencies, and operators looking for reliable, scalable and rider-friendly bike share infrastructure. Our system partners will be able to plan for new equipment and run systems with a mix of current and new equipment as all our models are compatible. For more details, check out our new website.
We have a new name and new product line, but our founding vision and values remain unchanged. Our goal has always been to make bike share an easy and accessible part of how people move around, putting people, safety, and sustainability first.
