AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND – 18 March 2026 – Gloworm Lights, New Zealand's leading manufacturer of high-performance cycling lighting systems, today announced the launch of two new e-bike dedicated light systems: the Gloworm XSV-PD E-Bike Light System and the Gloworm X2e E-Bike Light System (G2.1). Both systems are engineered specifically for e-bike riders and mark a new chapter in Gloworm's 15-year journey to solve real problems riders face on the trail.
The World's First DJI Avinox-Specific Light System
The Gloworm XSV-PD is the world's first light system designed specifically for e-bikes with a USB-C PD output port, including DJI Avinox-powered bikes. Delivering an extraordinary 3600 lumens powered directly from the e-bike battery via USB-C PD technology, the XSV-PD eliminates the need for a separate battery entirely — unlimited runtime, uncompromising output, as long as your bike runs.

The XSV-PD is part of the Gloworm G2.1 modular ecosystem. While it is designed to run from your e-bike's USB-C PD port, it is not limited to e-bikes. Add a Gloworm Power Pack (G2.x), sold separately, and the XSV-PD becomes a full standalone external battery light system — the same high-performance light, now usable on any bike, anywhere. Mix, match, and reconfigure based on the ride ahead —enduro, night racing, or all-day trail riding.
Dedicated Motor Power for Every Major E-Bike Platform
The Gloworm X2e E-Bike Light System (G2.1) is built for e-bikes with 6V or 12V motor systems,delivering up to 1850 lumens powered directly by the motor. Intelligent input detection automatically adapts to your bike's voltage for optimal performance, and unlimited runtime means your light will never be the thing that stops your ride.Compatible with Bosch, Bosch Gen5/Smart System, Brose, Shimano, and TQ motor systems, the X2e ships with a Shimano motor connection cable as standard. Connection cables for all other supportedmotor systems are available separately.

Safety Note
Professional installation is strongly recommended for the X2e. An incorrect motor connection canermanently damage the Light System. Riders who are not confident with electrical connections shouldh ave their light installed by a qualified bike mechanic or e-bike technician. Some e-bike systems mayequire light ports to be activated by an authorised dealer before use.
