Come celebrate the 60th Anniversary for the bike shop and an 80th birthday party for the longtime original owner of TURIN Bicycle, Lee Katz.
TURIN Bicycle originally started in Lincoln Park, Chicago in 1965 and has had various locations in Evanston and Chicago (along with a sister store in Denver, CO which closed in 2022) Turin was and is probably one the finest and most knowledgeable bike shops in Chicagoland since its birth. Lee Katz's vision as a very welcoming community focused environment with a blend of an European bicycle racing vibe has lasted the test of time. The shop has sold hundreds of thousands of bicycles into the Chicago infrastructure and is a true Chicago institution culturally contributing to the bicycle community in the Chicagoland, the Midwest and is known around the world.
TURIN Bicycle and Lee Katz have sponsored elite level cycling teams since 1965 which has greatly contributed to the development of the bicycle racing scene in North America.
