CINCINNATI, OH — BioWheels Workshop, a premier bicycle shop in Madeira, Ohio is pleased to announce a new partnership with Erg Cycling, a leading bicycle fit and cycling analysis service from Columbus. Starting in September, Erg Cycling founder Eric Peters will join the BioWheels team as General Manager and Lead Fitter, bringing his nationally accredited, advanced ergonomic fitting services to the Cincinnati market.

The collaboration will bring together two of the nation’s most respected cycling institutions.

For nearly 30 years, BioWheels has been a hub for the Greater Cincinnati cycling community, known for its expertise, its bicycle selection, mechanical services, and customer service. Erg Cycling  has established a reputation in the Columbus area for its scientific approach to bike fit, combining decades of experience with advanced motion capture and pressure mapping technology.

The new arrangement marks a significant expansion for Erg Cycling, which will offer its specialized services within the BioWheels Workshop. Erg Cycling will now be operating solely at the BioWheels location.    Peters, who is IBFI-accredited and has a background in exercise science and physical therapy, will use state of the art tools such as Velogic motion capture and GebioMized pressure mapping to help riders of all levels improve their ergonomics on the bike.

"We are incredibly excited to welcome Eric to the BioWheels family," said Mitch Graham, owner of BioWheels Workshop. "His expertise and data-driven approach to bike fitting are a perfect complement to our mission of providing the ultimate cycling experience. “

"I’ve long respected BioWheels' commitment to the cycling community and their focus on positioning with performance-oriented riders," said Eric Peters.  "This is a fantastic opportunity to join forces with Mitch and his team. For years, we’ve both had the same goal of working with rider’s of all levels and genre's to improve their riding experience. Mitch worked more with high level athletes, while I’ve been more involved in addressing rider disfunction and collaboration with Sports PT and Sports Med, I worked a lot with Ohio State’s Endurance Sports Med Team and hope to continue that collaboration with Cincy’s various PT Clinics. For me, joining BioWheels, a team like this that’s had the fit DNA baked into their daily processes for years is huge. It takes a team to get great rider outcomes."

BioWheels is staffed by their Chief Mechanic, Nate Mirrus, and Trevor Plum, as well as advised by industry veterans Kathleen Krumme and David Ariosa.   The collaboration leverages the strengths of both businesses to offer well over 100 years of experience, a comprehensive range of products, world-class fitting services and mechanical services.
